Hello friends of Thrive! In today's One Year Bible reading, I love the following short & to the point verse; 1 Thessalonians 5:
16 Always be joyful.
Notice the tone- It's not a suggestion as much as it is a command! It's like the 11th commandment - "Thou shalt always be joyful". I don't know about you, but there are so many situations throughout the day that would attempt to force me into a lot of emotions other than joyl. So for today, my goal is to attempt to honor the 11th commandment and simply have fun! Will you join me?
My Prayer for today: "Lord, remind me that joy is my responsibility and my attitude is up to me. Today, may I simply make a decision to see joy in all situations"
