Hey friends of Thrive Community Church! Today's One Year Bible reading that seemed very appropriate is Matthew 6:
17 But when you fast, comb your hair and wash your face.

I hope you will consider joining us in a time of prayer and fasting as we seek God's will for our families, our church, our community and our nation. But if you do, just be sure to clean yourself up, "...comb you hair and wash your face" :-).
My Prayer for Today: Lord, in this time of prayer and fasting, may we keep our priorities focused on you. Give us grace as we say "No" to things we would typically say yes to!
