Hey friends of Thrive. Today's One Year Bible Reading had the following verse in Matt. 10:30 that meant a lot to me.30 And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.
God is so intimately aware of what's going on in our lives, knowing us in and out, that even our hairs are numbered. If He has that trivial detail covered, how much more does He have the really big things in my life covered. To me, the verse means that nothing is taking God by surprise - NOTHING! So, if I am in a surprisingly unpleasant situation, I have to trust that I and the world around me will benefit from it.My Prayer for today: Lord, give me perspective. Help keep me aware that you are a God who is large and in charge. I surrender all the details in my life to your hands today, trusting that you have it all under control.Amen
